General vs. Personalized Muhurat

Selecting a correct timing window requires evaluating two distinct layers of astrological data:

• General Muhurat (Panchang Alignment): Evaluates the day's inherent planetary weather. It filters out major public detriments, ensuring we avoid Rahu Kaal, eclipse windows, inauspicious Nakshatras, and negative yogas.
• Personalized Muhurat (Natal Integration): Customizes the day's timings relative to your birth chart. It checks your Moon sign to avoid Chandra Ashtama (Moon in the 8th house) and performs a Tara Bal calculation to ensure the active star supports your birth star.

The Four Pillars of Muhurat Selection

Every customized timing window is built by balancing four distinct astronomical elements:

• Tithi (Lunar Phase): Waxing phases (Shukla Paksha) are preferred for active growth, while waning phases support clearing and introspection. Creative actions avoid 'Rikta' (empty) tithis (4th, 9th, and 14th lunar days).
• Vara (Weekday): Align the day's planetary ruler with your task. Use Thursday (Jupiter) for financial or educational starts, Friday (Venus) for design or romance, and Wednesday (Mercury) for digital launches or writing.
• Nakshatra (Lunar Mansion): The active Nakshatra must complement your birth star. Stable constellations (like Rohini, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha) are chosen for marriages and foundations.
• Lagna (Ascendant): The rising sign at the exact moment of your action must have its lord well-placed and strong. Malefic planets must not occupy the 1st, 8th, or 12th houses of the Muhurat chart.
